Prolapse back during pregnancy

Hi all,

Following the birth of my first daughter, I had a stage 2 bladder prolapse. I had physio from a lovely lady who said I looked fairly normal considering I had had a long labour followed by 2 hrs of pushing. Over 6 months the prolapse resolved - I could still see a small bump if I looked, but could not feel it apart from occasionally doing sport, and had no other symptoms.

scientific sources for recommended 2-3 year postpartum healing period

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody has scientific sources about the recommended 2-3 year postpartum healing period? I'm 29 years old, 15 months postpartum with grade 2 rectocele & grade 1 cystocele. My husband has "Baby fever", and I'd like to show him good sources about why it's essential to wait and give the body enough time to heal in between pregnancies.

Feeling better

Hey ladies, it’s been about two days since I made my last post, I’ve been feeling much better about what’s going on. I read an article about a young women only 28 who was dieing from rare bone cancer and she said be Greatful everyday that your alive and don’t take it for granite, she said she would do anything to be able to have a full life with her husband and family. I have been practicing posture as much as possible, I’m still not 100% I’m doing it right I’m keeping my stomach pushed out chest out, chin up, butt out, I’m still waiting on my posture video.

34 years old diagnosed with pelvic floor prolapse (stage 2) in October

I was diagnosed with pelvic floor prolapse and stress incontinence. I had been having period like cramps all the time for months and thought it was just my uterine fibroids. That was not the case. Now, a few months later I am noticing lower back pain and cramps all the time accompanied by discharge. I have canceled my physical therapy that my Dr. suggested I do. (because of insurance and being a little scared of the process if I'm going to be really honest).

Scared

Forum:

Hi ladies, I’m new here. I have self diagnosed myself with Rectocele and I feel I have intuss as well. I’m 26 years old with one child who is 1.5 years old. I’m terrified because I own a gym and am a personal trainer I feel this is something I’ve brought on myself with the past 5 years of weird bowel habits from anxiety. I really just need reassurance that I could have more kids and my quality of life isn’t ruined. My symptoms right now are not terrible but I fear over time could get worse.

Introduction & Rectocele / Constipation

Hello,

I have a really frustrating bowel problem, and I was hoping that somebody could give me some advice.

About nine months ago, I did a really stupid thing (missed the bottom step whilst running down the stairs) and hurt my back. It was so painful I had to be prescribed strong painkillers for a month with a really annoying side effect.

thank you

I am working very hard on the posture and can't wait to order the DVD that shows sitting techniques. Thank you so much Christine and I am so glad I found this site.

Labia dryness from walking, tissues rubbing against each other.

Forum:

I have some dryness on the labia walls from time to time, especially when I do a lot of walking and mostly at work, the rubbing back and forth, I use Vaseline which helps but was wondering if anyone has used anything else, don't want to use something that would promote a infection or inflammation. I have used the honey and vinegar which has helped my vagina health as well. I have not had a urinary tract infection in 6 months, the overall dryness was why I was getting the infections and yeast problem , things were just out of control down there . Thank you for any advice.

New here; cystocele; up all night from it feeling hopeless

I'm new here and feeling desperate. I'm so exhausted. I get up 10-20 times a night to dribble. Its like the constant feeling of urgency that comes with a UTI Doc ruled out UTI but confirmed cystocele. Has this happened to anyone else -- the total disruption of sleep? Is there hope for a solution?
I don't see how this program will solve my nighttime problem, esp in short term. But I'm trying to keep an open mind. Have decided to purchase the program.

Intro- NewMember with Rectocele/Cystocele

Hello all! I am new to the forum and just beginning to explore. I have always had a lazy posture- a result of being too tall too soon and developing a chronic slouch to try and be less tall! I have three kids and all three pregnancies were rough on my back- probably because my posture was already bad. I had my first son at 35 by C-Section, and my second with a home birth at 38. The home birth was long and difficult and I pushed for hours and hours, finally delivering on a birthing chair. I ended up with a 2nd degree tear and retained placenta.
