a pt visit

An update, I had decided to try seeing a physical therapist, since my rectocele diagnosis was spurred by acute episodes of lower back and pelvic pain in the past 2 months (constipation involved with some of the early episodes), and the acute pain episodes are the only symptoms I can't cope with, which would push me toward possible surgery. So instead of hoping rectocele surgery might eliminate these symptoms, I decided to at least investigate what could be done about the pain/seized muscles more directly.

Retroflexed uterus question

Hey, Ladies,

I have another question. I read my ObGyn/mw papers and it seems that I always had this retroflexed uterus even during pregnancies. With my third on my 34 week checkup my mw reported that my cervix was closed and faced anterior! Wow, I didn't remember that, or I just didn't care.

cystocele, sex, relapse

Have recently had a setback, wonder if anyone can help. I have a rectocele and a self-diagnosed cystocele ie the gynae diagnosed the rectocele. Don't know if I have any other -celes, may go and get checked just for the information. Anyway, sex has never been a problem before but the last few times it has caused an aggravation, quite severe, even non-penetrative sex (except for a finger, sorry if that's TMI)- I think I was a bit in denial about this, blaming other factors, but I think that it's proved to be the case.

Hi
I'm 37 weeks pregnant and my rectocole and cystocoele have quadrupled in size since I was diagnosed 3 years ago after the birth of my first child.

My vagina is bumpy and swollen with varicosities, haemorrhoids and also 3 other bulges 1. cystocole, 2. rectocoele and 3??urethrocoele or may be my cervix.

How to use the Balms effectively

I just received my order with all three balms and I'm not quite sure how to use them effectively. My cystoele does bulge by the end of the day and there is sometimes irritation which the sitz baths seem to relieve. Also, wanted to say how fast the shipping was. I ordered on Friday and Monday morning my package was the Post Office. Thank you for being so prompt!

Any ideas on the using the balms would be appreciated. I get confused when it's not recommended for internal use (the vulva and peri balms) since it seems like it would get inside when the bulge moves back in.
