How soon can I start the exercises PP?

Hi everyone,

I just received the DVD this week and am eager to get started on the exercises. I just had my baby 2 weeks ago, and have been feeling very good. She (touch wood) has been a good little sleeper and very content, so I've been able to get my rest. I really am (dare I say it) bored, and feeling energetic. Should I start the beginner workout now?

Bliss Balm

I just got my jar of Bliss Balm today. I'm in menopause and experiencing vaginal dryness but not sure about OTC products so I'm excited to try this. Should I use it every day, occasionally or just for intimate times. My cystocele was confirmed a couple of years ago and for the most part I do okay. It does peek through the vaginal opening sometimes and that's why I thought the Bliss Balm would be good. Also, lately I've noticed that the vulva seems to be shrinking. Is this a normal aging process and will anything help restore it?

I love the new DVD!!!

Christine,

I have received the new DVD today. I could hardly wait until the children fell asleep (and I tidied up the house, lol) to watch it.

It is simply fantastic!!! I have been in posture for two years now and have seen massive improvements (95% symptom free) but this new DVD gave me a new push to do more exercise (I have still been doing the exercises from the first DVD), make some further changes in my kitchen and just to feel good in general!

I have tears in my eyes, I am so happy! Thanks a lot!!! The workout looks so beautiful!

adenomysis and endometriosis

I have recently heard of a hysterectomy being performed for these two indications.

Is it not impossible to have adenomysis and endometriosis at the same time?

A worrying trend

At work today we all had to complete an online training and short test for Display Screen Equipment and workstation assessment. The section, in regards to 'good posture' whilst sitting at a computer screen stated 'At all times you must sit with your back supported by the backrest of your office chair. You must never sit on the edge of your seat.' I work in local government with approximately 3,ooo employees, the majority of which are female office workers.

I am sooo sad right now :'(

I am 95% sure that I have lichen sclerosis. I am awaiting a biospy ...4 weeks!
I've been looking on websites and at pictures and its just so awful and depressing.
And I cry. and then I feel stupid that there are worse things right.
And I keep crying :'(

Adenomyosis and UP

Christine, I have been diagnosed with adenomyosis recently and also a mild/moderate uterine prolapse. I have very painful and heavy periods and my Gynae has said it will only get worse and has given me three options for treatment. Either a Mirena IUD, a thermal ablation or hysterectomy. I am very anti surgery or hormonal treatments but feel stuck between a rock etc.

I have your book and dvd and have found the posture etc to be very helpful for my UP and was hopeful for a while that I would be able to remain 'whole' but not sure now :(

New here with a few questions

I hope this is the right place to post. I also hope this is not too long and rambling. I'm 34 and a mother of two little ones (2 yrs/4.5 yrs). I still nurse my 2 year old. I discovered my prolapses about 1 week ago. My biggest problem is my rectocele. My bladder is also coming down a bit. My uterus is retroverted (before/after each pregnancy) and seems to be not too low, for now. However, I think it presses on my rectum sometimes. Is it possible for my uterus to move to the proper forward position using the whole woman system?

I'm dreading Monday

So I went to see my gyn on Tuesday. She is sending me to the colorectal surgeon next Monday. He is going to do a flexible sigmoidoscopy. I had that special treatment 4 years ago and I am dreading it!!!!!!! I am worried what the enema prep will do to my POPs. I am scared ladies. Scared, I tell you!! My only comfort is in knowing that once this test is over I can rule out anything serious as causing my spasms/pain. I hope I will not be in need of fissure or hemroid surgery. My rectocele has caused both of these conditions to be chronic.
