Night light and its role in alleviating peri/menopause discomfort

Hi All
Have a look at this link. http://www.westonaprice.org/women/fertility.html .

Down the bottom of the page is a section on night lighting. Has anybody heard of this?

And who are the Weston A Price Foundation? It all sounds very commonsense to an earthmother like me, but is there a hidden agenda?

Update and question

I am now 8 months postpartum. I have made major changes in my diet and recently it feels like my rectocele is less symptomatic. However now my cystocele is so much lower. I am assuming it is because my rectocele is doing well????

Sponge/ Vaginal Dryness

I wasn't quite sure where to post this question, but I'm thinking it will sit here as well as anywhere...

Hi Wholewomen

Had an interesting experience the other day. I had to wear a thing called a Haltar Monitor for 24 hours to measure what my heart was doing. Long story, not going to tell it. I had a pretty sedentary afternoon and evening and decided the following morning that I had better give this heart of mine a bit of exercise so the monitor could measure how my heart responded, before I went back to the hospital to have it removed so they could collect the data off it.

goatgirl

Hi All

This darned goatgirl image is so hard to track down. Christine posted it under the topic "posture and PT visit". The title of her comment under this topic is "Paradigm Shift". In her Paradigm Shift comment there is a link to the image of goatgirl. Now you should be able to search 'goatgirl' and find this topic direct. Yay!

BTW the URL for the goatgirl image is http://www.wholewoman.com/picture_library/goatgirl.jpg

Sponge Pee Problems!

Hi,

rectocele surgery

I am scheduled for rectocele surgery on the 27th of this month. My symtoms were embarasing and although I have had them for some time I just recently told my doctor. My stool gets stuck in a pocket of the rectum and spots my panties(I know toooo much info) But do others have this symtom? The doctor doing the surgery hasn't mentioned anything about not lifting heavy things. I am a personal trainer and lift heavy weight all the time. I want to continue. I just found this forum today on the internet and no one seems happy with the surgery. Has anyone had a success?
