Hi all

First post-partum days

Hi Ladies,
Well, only four weeks to go until my due date. Time has flown and it's getting very exciting now. My POP has been behaving itself and I find walking (although a bit shorter now) is the best help (with the V2 supporter.)

Feeling overwhelmed and anxious?

Hi Everyone

I was trawling a womens health centre website today and came across this lovely grounding list, http://www.whs.org.au/pdf/GROUNDING%20LIST.pdf . It is a list of very practical and achievable things you can do when it all gets too much. I am thinking here of Judy's menopausal 'boxcutter days', but I am sure there are many other applications.

My POP brought me by...

Hello. This is my first time posting after having found Whole Woman a couple of weeks ago. I've since been lurking all that while, officially registering just today. What brings me here? -Well, as you can imagine, my POP brought me by. It seems that my POP has dragged me all over the internet, but before now, never to what looks to be such a warm, informative and understanding place as yours -- BTW, I'm Blue....

vaginal dryness

I am 65, I have had a chronic yeast infection from the age of 23. If I use any estrogen suppliments the yeast infection comes raging back. My vagina and vulva are extremely dry as attested by my gyn and by the fact that I can bleed from using a suppository or even bathroom tissue. I have to use so much lubrication to have relations with my husband that it takes all the fun out, not to mention that it still hurts. I am desperate any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

2 questions

Can someone please post the WEIGHT of the BATON so i can add the
correct amount of weight to my rolling pin...i don't feel it's
heavy enough 'cause i'm not feeling it.

Also, while doing the "seated straddle pose"...is the pelvis supposed to be
NUTATED while you're pressing it straight down????

Thanks for any replies, linda

How can I feel positive about my undercarriage?

I am so British I cannot even bring myself to call my lady bits by their proper name!

Has anyone had a lump? (O/T)

After having CIN3 in January and the Cystoscopy and removal of part of my Cervix...

I went to the Doctors today - About a weirdy feeling area in right armpit. I had asked two nurses at the Doctors to look previously - They said no lump and don't worry about it. I asked a Dr a month ago to look - He said no lump and don't worry about it - It's nothing...

I went today and asked this different Dr to look - As I just didn't feel right about it - He found a LUMP!

I am being referred for an ultrasound and maybe the breast clinic too. It is a small lump apparently 0.5cm...

Pelvic Organ Prolapse - A Hidden Epidemic

The six-week-old baby nestled peacefully in his mother’s arms was like a dream come true. His birth had gone almost according to plan and everyone who came to visit noticed how closely he resembled his handsome father. Only those who knew Emily well could sense something amiss in this joyful scene, but when asked she would smile anxiously and insist everything was fine.
