rectocele misery

Hi,

I was recently told I have a rectocele. Finally, after 2 years of hell, a doctor got to the root of problem. They want to treat with biofeedback.

I have a lot of problems and wondered if others have the same kind of problems. And splinting does not work for me. So much of my day is spent trying to evacuate and I almost never get complete empty. Do others have these problems: trapped stool, pain in rectum, back, abdomin, and a lot of gas? Any suggestions on these would be appreciated. I take Konsyl fiber 3X day, miralax 1X day and vegies and fruit.

Thanks

Urethracele and cystacele qts

So, I just got my book in the mail. Lo and behold, what I thought was cystacele is actually displacement cystacele and urethracele. I don't notice rectocele yet. Maybe I won't. I hope. My concern is that somewhere between yesterday and today, everything got much worse.

My urethra is outside of me now. It has been sort of bulging, but now it's larger than a marble outside of me. My cystacele bulge was present at my opening, and now its just a whole lot bigger. HELP!! I'm freaking a little!

What goes on the week before a period???

Hi all,
I wondered if any of you wise women could help me to understand the cycle of my prolapse symptoms.
My prolapse is 12 months old now (As is my beautiful (2nd) baby Joshua).
I find that the week before I begin bleeding my cystocele seems to drop at least a centimetre which takes it right back to the heavy/uncomfortable/always on my mind stage.
A day or so before I start bleeding it all goes back up to it's manageable level as if by magic!
So, I'm guessing it's hormonal, but can anyone shed any light on what exactly it is?
Thanks in advance,

should I be doing kegels with butt on pillow?

REPLENS - A WARNING!

Hello dear women,

Well…I have some bad news about this product. I hate to be the one to deliver it because I was thrilled there was something out there helping and had it in my mind that someone had already looked up the ingredients.

Apparently not because I just had a look myself and am horrified. Here are the ingredients according to Amazon – who must be selling a ton of this stuff:

Purified Water, Glycerin, Mineral Oil, Polycarbophil, Carbomer 934P, Hydrogenated Palm Oil Glyceride, Sorbic Acid, Methylparaben, Sodium Hydroxide.

Postural Exercises

Hi, I am new to this as many of the other postings that I have read. I am interested in finding out more about the postural exercises that I keep reading about. Where do I go to find this information? Also, any other references that you can offer for information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Helga

Swimming

Hello
I am new to all this but I do know I have a 'moderate' prolapse of the cervix, bowel and bladder. I have had 2 children. I would like to know if I can go swimming as a form of excercise. Thank you

the silver lining

Hi, I was just thinking that although I wish I didn't have a prolapse, there is a silver linig for me. I have always wanted to have beautiful, confident, strong posture, but for some reason, have not made that a high enough priority in my life to create it in myself. So here goes...thank you prolapse for giving me this opportunity.

A diagnosis!

I got the results from my ultrasound! They were twofold.

1) nothing structural was found. Now what does this mean exactly? If something is prolapsing is that structural? That they didn't find anything structural means - what? Not a prolapse? Or is this something that does not show up on an ultrasound? It did occur to me, as I lay there being rogered roundly with this wand, that they were pushing everything up and out of the way to get the wand in and what could that show? Has anybody been diagnosed with an (interior) ultrasound? Did they find anything?
