I starting to freak out again - Does anyone know how to tell if they have vaginal vault prolapse?

My entire insides are saggy. I am getting scared that there is more than cystocele and rectocele. Can anyone help me.

Really would like to know. I am probably getting crazed as my specialist appointment is next week.

Is saggy for the entire insides normal for 10 week pp?

NATURAL FEMALE POSTURE – A RADICAL PARADIGM SHIFT

Pelvic organ prolapse is a condition where the pelvic organs – bladder, uterus, and rectum – press against the vaginal walls and in some cases cause the vagina to bulge outside the body. Often resulting in lower back pain and pelvic pressure, prolapse can also cause significant emotional distress. Prolapse is considered by obstetrics and gynecology to be a progressive disorder and has been treated with radical pelvic reconstructive surgery for over a hundred years.

new skeleton model

Hi All,

I just received the flexible, desktop skeleton I ordered last week in hopes of being better able to explain TRUE anatomy to women who come to my classes by bending it into the right shape. I have a spinal model that's fairly rigid and difficult to bend to get the pelvis to take its real-life position, rather than the "textbook" position (basin-like) portrayed everywhere.

Guess what?! THE NEW PELVIS IS COMPLETELY IN THE RIGHT POSITION!!! Our institutions are finally coming around to accept and integrate this fundamental truth misrepresented by medical science for over 500 years!

Christine - Article on POP that I told you about

Christine:

Here is the article website I spoke about regarding POP not always being Chronic or Progressive. You will probably need to register to call it up but it is free.

Update

For all those who provide advice thank you I was finally able to go yesterday. This morning the urge hit me and without any assistance it took care of itself with no straining. I definitely believe I was concentrating too much on the BM.

I was also able to last an entire day in a classroom setting while maintaining posture almost throughout the day. This definitely gave me some confidence that I can function and will function better each day. Baby steps.

Thanks all

Time outs

As much as I've been focusing on the sponge lately, I have not forgotten the key importance of maintaining the Whole Woman posture in order to best manage my prolapse. I really feel as if I've made it my own while on my feet - However, it's in sitting that I have a tendency to lose it. I'm okay for quite some time up here in my desk chair, and at the dinner table as well, but when in the living room, when I just want to take time out to read, watch tv, or give my achy back a break, it's another story.

tights

HI all,
so i need ideas.
i survived this last year wearing nothing night around my waist but it's getting trickier.
i need to really dress up for an event, and that means hose!
i thought i'd get suspenders and thigh high tights for that, but i also have a big issue in winter.
To add to this thought, my LS means no trousers right now as seams rub, & nothing that make me too hot, but on the other hand skirts can get cold! and long johns just don't suit the professional look on the odd day i have to go there.

Pelvic organ prolapse question???

Hello everyone. I am new to the group but I'm glad I found this. I have lived with this for almost 2 years after giving birth to a 9 pound baby girl. I saw my gyno and he examined me and sent me to a uro/gyno. The Dr said he could not do surgery on me until I find out which connective tissue disease I have because if he puts a mesh in to hold up my bladder, it ( the mesh) could attack my body due to my autoimmune disease and could crippled me. I tried a pessary and did not have any luck with it.

Rectocele is bothing me and I know that I need to have a bowel movement (((HELP)))

Help:

I need to have a bowel movement. I can feel it. I tried putting my fingers in the vagina and pressed down. I went as far as I could reach to no avail. Here is the gross part. I put my finger up my rectum and it is there but very mushy. (Horrors) Any suggestions. I haven't gone in three days.

Thank you
