Office Chair?

Hi Everyone,

Any suggestions for an office chair? Any thoughts on the balance ball chair from Gaiam? I'm tempted to saw the legs off my desk so I can sit on the floor with it- but not practical with a 6 month old and a 4 year old I suppose! LOL!

Thanks,
Nora

Just wondered how you were doing? In your last post you were a bit upset by things feeling much worse all of a sudden and you are usually always around. Hadn't heard from you and wanted to check you were o.k.?

Constipation suggestions

Hi Ladies,

I'm new here- nothing like diving in to the mix!

1.My 5 month old son has eczema and as a result, I am on a diet program by Edgar Cayce and John Pagano. Long story short, one of the things I am having to do is every night drink a warm tea made from water and slippery elm. What I am finding (pleasantly) is that I have a 'bm' every time once I've done this! Even drinking warm water alone (or with lemon) might help as it stimulates the bowels. Cold will keep it in, warm helps it out.

2. Another one of my favorite "drinks" is:
2 oz inner leaf aloe vera juice

MommyNow

Mommynow, you asked back before Christmas what exercises I did to help myself. I take a whole body approach and I wish I had a concrete routine to offer you. Christine’s ballet routine in her new book would be that…. A lot of what I do is below. I don’t do it all everyday, but I try to do something everyday and work in as much as I can without making it boring or a drudgery. I was extremely weak from being very, very sick for over a year. I had a long way to travel to where I am now. I am simply amazed at how my body responded once it was strong enough to try.

An unpleasant new year's surprise

Hello, me again, I know this isn't about prolapse but I feel the need of some support and wisdom, if anyone can help. On new years day, I found a small bluish spot on my right breast about halfway between my nipple and armpit. It is slightly bigger than a pin head at the moment but I had never noticed it before and the bluish colour looks a bit odd. It is slightly raised, not flat. Of course, I am planning to see my doctor next week and have it checked out but I am scared after reading about melanoma (skin cancer) on the net.

light a candle

So on January first at 12 in the afternoon- light a long burning candle and join WW everywhere all over the globe.

Please let us know your thoughts as you light your candle.

I will probably light mine early- if I am awake to see the new year arrive.

constipation...why? and a ?

Hello all,
in a moment of net access another question (may be a bit before i can see what anyone's thoughts are, but i promise i shall return to read the wisdom that abounds!!!)

so...first question. why do so many of us here seem to suffer from constipation post prolapse, never having had it before. i could always eat anything and never get it. now i breathe in the wrong way and there we go! is it just that the body doesn't get the right signals anymore causing blockages? or is there some other reason?

and...

prolapsed?

Im 26 and have an 11 month old, I had a very lengthy natural labour. Right after the birth I felt a huge pressure and literally felt like I was turning inside. There is a bulge just inside of my virginal on the back side and a smaller bulge coming to meet it from the other side, so the entrance looks blocked.

Spasms?

So, I've been having the most awful pelvic pain for the past month. I saw my gyno and he said I was either having spasms of my vagina or I have an infection.
He also told me my uterus is tilted..I've never been told that in my life (I've been told it was up higher and to the back, but never tilted)
Is it being tilted part of the prolapse?
He said I shouldn't have pain because of any of my prolapses, and thats what I thought.
I keep getting stabbing vaginal pain (my labia and near my groin area)
I now take Valium at least once a day. Does anyone else get spasms also?
