22 with a urethrocele and and slight cycostele

Hello everyone... I am 22 and 7 weeks post partum. I am so happy to found this website! I had a ultrsound 2 wks pp and did not have this. But a month later it developed. It doesn't really bother me and I have urine control, but it just depresses me. I wonder where i went wrong?? I did not leave the hospital like this. I don't know what to do, should i try a pessary? I am scared to have sex, go down the stairs, walk too fast. I have a month left to rest, I wonder if I rest and do kegels if it will heal on its own?

Help with exercise options

Finally my doc diagnosed a small cystocele after several visits!
I am used to exercising on the treadmill as well as using weight resistance machines at the gym. It seems to me the treadmill may aggravate and worsen my problem. The doc advised no lifting but beyond that no suggestions. Not lifting is easier said than done!!!

cystocele rectocele with A/P repair (?)

Good Morning... I am new to this forum and am very pleased to have found you all. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I am 46 yrs old and am home recovering from cystocele and rectocele surgery. My surgeon performed this by vaginal anterior and posterior repair, with a mesh (sling) for my urinary stress incontinence.

Guess what I got for Christmas?

The balm sampler!! Yay my husband.

It is always prudent to send links for what I want/need. Subtle hints don't work but "buy me this" sure does! :-))

Some Reflections

I haven't written for a long time, but before I say all this, I'd like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a new and fabulous New Year - a sagless, energy filled, up,up,up year.

Over the last month, I've been busier than I ever have been. It's been a kaleidescope of good and bad, and I want to share it with you because I've discovered that the feelings in our lives and even surrounding POP may well be closely related to how we endure this.

Salsa and Prolapse - question from a dancer...

Hi,
I am very new to the forum, I am really glad to find this site! I will do a proper check up with the doctor tomorrow to find out about my prolapse. I gave vaginal birth to my son 1 month ago, and this evening when I did bowel movement, I realised there was "something" at the opening of my vagina..., since then I have been searching for information on pelvic organs prolapse.

scary symptoms?anyone relate?

Hi all,
I had a scary incident last night that I wonder if anyone here has some insight or experience about.

Happy Holidays Wish Thread

I thought of starting a thread to post all of our holiday greetings.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
I would like to say, I have really appreciated having this resource available, and I'd like to thank all the WW ladies for their support, and especially Christine for starting this, and all her extensive work to help us ladies with prolapse.

Happy Holidays!

gynae wards

Have just transferred to a new PT and she was very anti surgery. She was a woman in her mid- fifties I would say and was an honest and kind woman who openly discussed that she thought she might have a rectocele as well. I talked about wholewoman and she was very interested and was going to check out the website even though she had some reservations re the lumbar curve and how PT's approach prolapses. Anyway I didn't really understand what she meant by this but she definitely was going to look at the WW site.

Cat Scan

I am getting a pelvic/abdominal cat scan tomorrow. It is for my severe pelvic and abdominal pain I have been having..my doctor is afraid I have gall stones (which apparently is common in women who have given birth)
I told him of my prolapses, since I've been having terrible groin pain, and thats when he ordered a pelvic scan too...and he said he's really interested to see the scan.
Is he interested because he'll be able to see my prolapses? I am not too familiar with them, since I've only ever had a few on my neck..I didn't know it could show all that though.
