Lifestyle and WW posture

Forum:

I'm finding it really difficult to maintain WW posture, like, ever :( Unless I'm sitting at the table for meals, basically. I'm realizing how much of my time is spent slouching but it seems impossible to change it. Examples- driving in the car, sitting on the couch while nursing, sitting in the rocking chair holding my toddler for naps, leaned over the kitchen counters cooking, etc. So that's basically my whole day! What is a person to do?

Urethral hypermobility?

I went to my obgyn this morning (because I've never actually seen a doctor for my stress incontinence..only physical therapists and chiropractors).

He said everything looks good and I don't have any prolapse (though all he did was look for like 5 seconds, then told me to "bear down" and I said I don't know how, but I tried but I don't think I did anything..sooo).

Anyway, he said my stress incontinence is caused by urethral hypermobility. Will the exercises in the incontinence video help with that?

elderly not strong enough to get on all fours to empty bladder

Forum:

Anyone have other postures or tricks and positions for emptying retained urine from a dropped bladder in someone who can not do the posture on all fours because of cognitive issues or lack of strength. The hope is that some other movements will get possible bacteria to move into other areas of the bladder to get flushed out with the next cup of mannos or pau darcho tea....or other remedy.

Plagued by air bubbles

Glad to find this forum and just wanted to ask some questions. I am 32, developed grade 2 cystocele after second baby. I began to see a physio therapist at 9 months postpartum. Have seen her about 7 months now. There was quite a bit of kegeling but she at least knew enough to advise me (although somewhat vaguely) on the importance of posture and diet.

I have had a good deal of improvement in my symptoms (which were nothing functional, by sheer grace, just the feeling of something in my vagina and a whole lot of emotional baggage to go along with it).

Incontinence questions

So I'm still working my way through the incontinence DVD (it's hard to get much uninterrupted time to myself these days!), but what I've learned so far has got me thinking...and I've got a few questions.

matristem

Does anyone know about this alternative to transvaginal mesh? Made from a pig bladder by ACell. Are the problems the same with this 'mesh?' My cervix is out so far that I feel like I have to urinate all the time. Having a hard time dealing with this.
Thanks,

Frequent Urination

Frequent Urination

Does having prolapse cause frequent urination? I'm not having a UTI but thought it might be from overactive bladder. I believe I have a cystocele and maybe a rectocele too. Not sure. The last time I saw a gyn (3 or 4 yrs ago), was told it was a cystocele. But was wondering whether the actual prolapse itself could cause it?

Thanks to all responders,
