lightbulb moment - Why I now know that this wasn't sudden POP

When I suddenly felt a twinge during my normal workout, I knew that something was very wrong. I felt twinges and, not necessarily pain, I just felt odd. I quit my workout immediately, thinking, "oh no, I've really hurt myself". I spent the rest of the day feeling odd and instinctively feeling scared about what was happening in my abdomen. I thought about how hard I had been amping up my core, lower abs and back exercises because I understood that although I'd been working out 5 days a week and staying active, I was having some, more than usual, bladder leaks.

My family needs me but I need my body back.

I came across this page one night while I couldn't sleep; because just a few hours earlier I was finally given a diagnosis. A little back story. Currently in my mid twenties and with two beautiful kids. I am 6 months PP and finally after 5 years the doctors decided to give my bulge a name. I already knew what I had because I just kept researching over and over until I self diagnosed. At my 6 week PP appointment I walked in full of confidence and with determination to get them to explain what was coming out of me.

Bumbed out about Pessary

Has anyone read the article entitled; For Want of a Pessary the Life Was Lost?
I feel like Margaret in the story, I just not dead yet.
I have 3 miss fits and am still counting.
The Doctor says; “I am not against fitting a pessary, but it just takes too long”. “Wouldn’t you rather have your pap test now and make another appointment later for the pessary fitting?”
“Jump up and down; if it doesn’t fall out, that’s the right fit”.
Or the doctor who makes
Pessary jokes while you are being fitted for one.

Anyway

I am new to life with prolapse and my bulges hit me like a sledgehammer! Anyway, here's my thing:

conntractions only strong when prolapsed organ is out

hi every one. has any one gone through strong contraction only when cervix is out? I'm due 3 days ago and I'm scheduled for induction on Saturday if labour didn't progress. My Dr said I'm 3cm dilated but contraction is only strong and painful when my cervix prodes out only to stop when it shrinks back. will also want to know any birth experience with uterine prolase. thanks

My story about Genital HPV

Hi all, long time ago I posted a msg on this forum afraid of the consequences of the HPV virus (which I fought over a year) ... well, I can breathe , after long treatment (no vaccine) I got rid of this virus!! I appeal to all girls and women who have similar problems, it's better to go to the doctor for not having anything to lose the contrary else can heal without complications! treatment only .. do not be afraid for this virus can win up to reach the stage of cancer !! My gynecologist recommended treatment with Cervugid Ovules 3 courses with breaks for 7 days.

Sleeping positions and pillows?

I haven't seen anything about sleeping positions and possible issues with old habits. I also saw a mention of not using a pillow which has been wonderful for me on my back but I still need one when I am on my side with a pillow between my knees. I am still tucking my lumbar on my side and back. Should I use support or are their any tricks?

Prolapsed bladder at 5 months pp

I returned to my exercise routine at 5 months pp lifting weights and doing squats and lunges. During that week I developed an urge to urinate that I though was a uti. Now I am 7 months pp. 3 evaluations later, I was twice treated for a uti that didn't exist and I was finally diagnosed with a prolapsed bladder after pointing out the bulge to my doctor. I will soon attend physical therapy and have ordered the Whole Woman starter bundle. I feel devastated and guilty, feeling like I should have never began that exercise.

Yoga

Forum:

Hello,

Coming back from yoga today I really felt discouraged because the number of poses I was able to do in the class was pretty limited, too many obtuse angles postures. I love doing Christine's programs, but there are times I just want to be social when I exercise. Helps to make sure I actually do it!

in search of lubricant for sensitive skin

I have sensitive skin everywhere. What vaginal lubricants are recommended for sex with prolapse? I have always been sensitive to skin products so am very wary of using anything in this area (but now need to) especially since I can be much more irritated with the prolapse. Thank you!
