Laptop Table

Forum:

Do many of you work on your laptops with a table over your outstretched legs, on knees, cross legged? Christine does that on 1st Aid right? My DVD broke, new one coming but I can remember that.

I am trying to buy one and can't find one. I can get one from the US if anyone has a good link on Ebay etc. I figure I will get really good on the floor sitting if I stop chairs when I can. Plus chair sitting hard on cele.

New to constipation…what can I do to get things moving and not be shy on the loo?

Okay so my wonderful day is winding down with a new worry. I've never been constipated in my life, yet I'm realizing that my goddess belly is a little distention from the fact that I haven't had a bowell movement since Monday. Might not be a big deal for a lot of you but I've never had this happen before and I've read plenty about cystocele and rectocele going hand-and-hand. I was diagnosed by PT as cystocele only but that exam was lying down.

bending down one knee then the other?

I am really improving except in one area. The one thing that seems to set me back slightly but immediately is squatting to pick something up off of the floor. I'm not talking about anything heavy, a pen or piece of paper. My question is whether temporarily avoiding the squat, until I get stronger (and master the ww pose in squat) and my psoas is released more, is okay? I'm doing all 5 DVD's, 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. I feel tremendously better after each of these sessions as well as when I wake up in the morning, but feel immediately worse when I squat.

prolapse and nerve damage

Hello

Improved prolapse and pain

Forum:

I have been following the programme and posture for almost 7 months now and am happy to say that my prolapse symptoms are becomming more manageable all the time. I am at the point where I would not consider having surgery any more. I had a setback due to an injury i inflicted upon myself because I didn't follow the exercises slowly. For 3 months now I haven't done any exercise except for the chair exercises in the Save Your Hips DVD. My problem is that I am in alot of pain. ...all over my body.

Heavvy Periods and POP

My cycle hasn't returned yet but I suspect it's just around the corner....with my first baby it was back round about weaning time and we're heading for five months post partum pretty soon.

Uncomfortable (rubbing between legs) while walking

While the WW posture and DVD's seem to help reverse the bulging sensation of my Cystocele, I am still feeling a rubbing in between my legs when I try to walk. Things are clearly lower and my genitals are rubbing together whether I wear nothing under my drawstring yoga pants or I wear underwear… I am not used to anything touching between my legs. Prior to the POP, i didn't feel anything. Now I feel like everything is rubbing and going to become raw. I've stopped my attempted walks within the first 2 minute and turned around to come home.

Question for Tech People

Forum:

Hi

I was just wondering if there would be a way for us to post photos of ourselves in posture, maybe so it is not obvious who we are, as the anonymity is good for being open on this forum etc. We could then get comments from women on here about it. Or even better buy comments from Christine. I would like some practical tweaking.

too far gone

As often is the case, Christine's Newsletter came just at the right time. Her input on the topic of education, knowing your body, was uplifting, as was her focus on the fact that posture is the key to managing uterine prolapse, (my case).
