need all the advice i can get about pregnancy after pop

hi all, (if i am going to get the lingo right...what does pop stand for?)

happy mother's day! just found out i am pregnant with my fourth. i am 40 and was just diagnosed with "mild to moderate cystocele" a week ago. we were trying to get pregnant so i guess it was meant to be because after i was diagnosed i started to have second thoughts....wondering "will the pregnancy AND delivery only make my condition worse?" that being said, without trying to freak out about the prolapse side....we are ecstatic :)

ovulating and cystoclel/rectocele symptoms

Does anyone think that their rect/cyst symptoms are worse at this time of the month? I have started exercising this week and am wondering if I have done something or could it be this certain time of the month...just trying to put 2 and 2 together as usual on this journey...hugs to all since I have not been onlie in a while. K

weird

I had my last period 3 weeks ago, so I could be having it again but I am bleedy really heavily. I am on day 3 and still bleeding heavily. I also had a weird dull ache in the exact same place as I did after my second birth. I checked things out to see if things were lower and everything has lifted up. It almost feels pre-POP, but what could this be? During my last period, my uterus was lower. Also, I am experiencing the bladder ache that comes with not being able to empty it completey.

Regarding how to live without surgery with a prolapse

I had a total hysterectomy in 1988 and for the past two years due to a prolapse have been working with pelvic floor muscle exercises, biofeedback and kegels and very recently the condition got worse and went to a cystocele 3 . I discovered a company that sells a fembrace or vbrace and when I am wearing that or wearing tight jeans or tight dungaree shorts I can walk around or go to the gym and exercise on the elliptical trainer. I have bought the WellWoman book and DVD and am working to maintain a correct posture.

Overdeveloped deltoid muscle

OK, all you other anatomy nerds. Here's one for you.

video on the WWW theatre

Hi Christine

I just wanted to thankyou for making that video available to the public explaining about POP. What an eye opener for women.

You are a God send Christine. To bad that the women before us that had to go through the butchery surgeries could't have known what you have taught us through this site.

Bless you Christine

New

I checked out the video on youtube and would like to know if you have herinated disc in your neck and si joint problems will I be able to do these exercises? I do not have a diagnosis of any prolapse organs. The last exam I had showed my uterus had tilted and I am dealing with stress incontinence. Will this program be beneficial?

overwhelmed with it all

hi all,

i just found out i have "slight to moderate cystocele" after having two cycles of ovulating that just didn't feel right. it felt like something had dropped. (seems my symptoms flare up only with ovulation, does anyone else experience this?) i recently had my 3rd child. he is now 9 months.
