Pelvic prolapse/cystocele

I want to know that a person who never had sex or babies can still get cystocele?

Feeling so low

Hi there,

Cystocele

Hey everyone,

Question for Christine: Ligaments/Fascia

Forum:

Christine, you've just given me an "aha" moment: are you saying that the broad ligament, cardinal ligament, and uterosacral ligaments aren't true ligaments -- they're actually fascia? I'm asking because being able to visualize what's inside me is really helpful as I do the WW work, and I've had a hard time visualizing those uterine "ligaments." I learned in anatomy and physiology classes that a ligament connects bone to bone, but I know that the uterine "ligaments" sure don't -- they connect the uterus to... I'm still not sure what.

sitting in chair at work

Forum:

I sit a lot at my job all day, could Christine or someone explain how to sit all day but not messing up your posture. I try and get up as often as I can, but I still end up with some neck and shoulder pain because I am working on a computer. We have all kinds of people using these stations so the ergonomic situation is not perfect by no means. But I do have neck and shoulder discomfort most days. I need this job for a few more years till I reach 65 and then I will find some other job that doesn't cause so much strain on my body. Any advice would be welcomed. thanks.

Peaceful sleep?

Forum:

Hello!
I desperately need help/tips for sleeping comfortably! While I sleep and when I wake I have terrible back pain.
My background is that i have three prolapses: uterine, rectocele, cystocele. I also have a eight-finger abdominal separation (diastasis) and an umbilical hernia.
I have tried many different sleeping positions, pillows and beds. The most comfortable position is child's pose (but it's difficult to stay asleep in that pose.)

MRI images

Hi ladies,
I'm trying my best to combine the WW work into my personal and professional world :-) Have a million questions :-) I found some interesting MRI images that I would like to share here.
I wonder what Christine will say about these images (and is it really not harmful?)-

PROLAPSE AND NOW HIP BURSITIS

Hi all from the UK!
Firstly I would like to say I am so grateful to have discovered this website and all of Christines work. I don't know what I would have done without the help and knowledge.
I had a prolapse of the uterus in January which was a huge shock as I have no children. I was very, very depressed for a while but when I found this website I picked myself up and started the posture and I have the First Aid for Prolapse video and was doing the exercises as often as possible and felt quite proud of myself as I was doing so well.
