Question from a newbie to all the oldies (excuse the pun -- we're all as young as we feel until we get a stupid POP)

Newbie needing support!

Hi, I am a new member who is looking for support. I am a 39 year old who is 15 weeks pp with my first baby, diagnosed with rectocele at 9 weeks pp. Feeling devastated and overwhelmed at how debilitated I am by this.

Question from a Newbie

Hi All:

What are reasonable expectations to improve?

Hello again. I purchased Christine's book and dvd last year. I believe I am doing the firebreathing correctly, I walk a lot, I am seeing a PT and believe I am eating well.
I have noticed that even using the posture, that I still have a bulge at the vaginal opening (but not while sitting or lying down). What is reasonable for me to expect? I have either a cytoscele or urethecele. I have read in some posts that some woman notice immediate improvement with the posture. Maybe I am not doing it correctly, but I think I am.

i need help and direction

i noticed a slight buldge about 4 months after my 2nd daughter was born (both were c-sections) ... it is not a bladder type buldge .. i am thinking i have some type of prolaspe .. nothing comes right out of the vagina, i cant "feel" it .. i can just see it .... it is not smooth like the bladder is, its more "ridged" like the vaginal wall ... i would like to have another baby, and i am scared to even have sex ... i cant find anything online, in the way of pics for different types of prolaspe to see if i can see something that looks simular ... i have so much stress over this! help!

NEW-3 mos Postpartum-Cyst/Rect/Uter-Trying EVERYTHING to heal

Hi WW Ladies,
I'm 29 years old and 3 mos postpartum with my 2nd child. I noticed a bulge 3 wks PP and thought it was part of my stitches (2nd deg. tear). Then I looked in the mirror and found it. I was devastated. My OB and a urogyn diagnosed me with cystocele, rectocele, and uterine prolapse (grade one). I also had pubic symphsis dysfunction (ligaments at pubic bone separated) AND sacoriliac joint dysfunction (ligament separation at back of pelvis.

Sorry in advance

I feel I need to apologize before hand. I don't mean to sound so negative, but today is just a bad day. I am really wondering why I am preparing myself for an all natural birth. I mean, I have read several stories & books all explaining why natural over medicated/assisted childbirth is WAY BETTER. I jumped right on board. It surely makes perfect sense. BUT....why then does Ribbit, for instance, have a major prolapse??? I mean, she birthed 4 children the RIGHT way nature intended and she is still in this LOVELY MESS......

For whatever reason there is no way to Reply to your post (am I the only one having that problem?) so I am posting my reply this way.

cytocele and using tampons and Pilates

This is my first time posting on this site. I was scheduled for surgery last August 2009 when I discovered this site. I "postponed" the surgery (that's what I told the doctor) and ordered Christine's book and DVD. I keep it at my bedside and read it frequently.

coffee, wine and red clover tea bags

I have created this new forum in hopes of categorizing questions related to hormonal health. Let's begin with Deb's last question to me:

"I have been a coffee drinker but I believe you are going to tell me that it is not good for the LS right? So I am trying to curtail or give it up, as well as wine!
I see they sell red clover tea bags online–do you think they are as effective as the tea you make?"
