Prolapse at 3 days pp

What would your advice be for the immediate future, wise ones...
Obviously the WW posture is first and foremost the most important tool, but what else would you suggest for her, taking into consideration that she is only 3 days post birth (homebirth with self-directed pushing).
Thank you

Hi,
A couple of weeks ago I found a bulge in the vaginal opening. I have an appointment with a Uro/gyneocologist dec. 21st.

4 month update

Hello -- I am now a week shy of 4 months pp and am having a hard time. I now have a rectocele which is most noticable when my bowels are full. Initially I was told that I had a wider opening and that it was not a rectocele, but after doing the self-exam, I know that it is. My cystocele feels smaller because of this -- which is good. I have a feeling my uterus is falling too, but it is still a ways up -- about a finger length -- so I am hoping that it is just lower because that is what happens after babies.

sea sponges info: where to get them from, how to clean them

V annoying - a short while ago I saw a post asking about how to clean sea sponges, I couldn't reply immediately and now I can't find it. It mentioned boiling them.

The care instructions do say not to boil as they disintegrate easily, and recommend the following cleaning agents: tea tree oil or sea salt or colloidal silver, in a cup of warm water, then rinse well. I've used the first two and haven't had any problems. If you've used a lubricant eg olive oil or Jade and Pearl Shea Nut Butter, use a mild, natural, pH balanced soap first to remove it(J&P sell one of their own).

nauli

Hello

I just watched the youtube video on the Nauli exercise and I remember doing that for yoga, but what it was used for was if you had constipation. This stimulates your colon and at the sametime it will help put your organs back to where they should go. It does take some practice with learning the breathing and pulling your muscles up and back and moving them around.

Have I got the wrong idea? Please correct me if I do.

Thanks again

BUSY TIME FOR WW

Hi All,

curvature of the spine

Hi Christine

I have had polio as a child and I have a pronounced curve in my spine and also my right foot sticks out to 45 degree angle. How do I do the WW posture correctly? I also have one shoulder much more higher than the other due to the spine problem.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Is anyone gluten and dairy free?

I couldn't remember if anyone was both. I've been gluten free for several months now, but still feel like something isn't agreeing with me. If anyone is gf and df, please let me know how and what you eat on a daily basis.

A targeted supplement

Has anyone investigated the "Pelvic Power" herbal remedy sold by JadeandPearl? It is supposed to strengthen uterine ligaments. I am not well informed on herbal remedies and wondered if any of you could share your perceptions.

Speaking of JadeandPearl, my first trial of the regular sea sponge made me feel good for about an hour. After that, things were definitely coming down and uncomfortable. I had to work at getting the sponge out, even with the removal floss I sewed on. I wonder if the prolapse sponges (bigger and denser) would help or not.

Pooing posture in the animal kingdom / rectocele

Hi All

Have a think about what animals do when they evacuate the bowel. I observe dogs and cats semi-squatting on all fours with knees apart while lifting their tail. Horses seem to put their head up and just lift their tail. Sheep and cattle lift the tail, but I think they can also keep grazing (further spying needed - maybe they are smarter than we think).

Lifting of the tail seems to be the common feature, and all these animals have well-bent legs in their normal posture.

I am wondering what other mammals do?

What do other primates do?
