Tampon Wearing

I know I could probably search old threads, but I just don't have the time. Just wondering how much tampon wearing is too much. I finally figured out how to get one in comfortably (lots of bliss balm), and it feels so nice!!! Anyway, I know I won't overdue it, but we will be moving soon. I've got lots of cleaning and packing of boxes to do. I figure I could just wear one if I'm on my feet a lot, or if I'm doing heavier work. I know I shouldn't be doing all this stuff, but no one else can really do it!!!

Carrying Baby

I'm 10 weeks PP and just wondering how people coped with carrying their babies and lifting carseats etc. I find that my prolapse (cystocele - probably 3 degree) comes out right away when I pick up my son, but I don't know how to avoid it. I have totally stopped baby wearing because that makes it much worse (very sad about this since I wore my first son all the time). Similarly, I often need to lift my 3 year old into our truck and of course, my infant carseat with baby in it. Any suggestions for how to handle this?

Symptoms of cystocele?

Hey, Ladies,

I am new here on the forums. I had my third baby 5 months ago. 1 month after my third birth I started to develop the following symptoms:
*I have to pee almost all the time when I am standing up (labs are negative) In the morning I am fine, but towards the evening I fell the urge all the time, it drives me crazy!
*some bulging on the anterior vaginal wall, but nothing big or severe (ObGyn said there are NO cervical or bladder prolapse)
*I am tandem nursing my 5 mo and my 2 yo, so my estrogen level is basically zero. Can low estrogen cause my symptoms?

Something else going on?

I've had a lot of ups and downs with my rectocele and cystocele lately. I know this is a normal part of the prolapse process. However, it seems like something else may be going on, too. I want to get some feedback on what it might be.

Sloppy Pelvic Organs --how long does it last pp?

Hi there,

Firebreathing

I am new to this technique and seem to be having some difficulty with the in breath part. When I do the exhale I can feel my organs suck in but when I attempt the inhale through the nose, I can feel them pop back out. I have a cystocele (I think it is grade 3) and am 9 weeks post partum. Does anyone have any advice on how to do the inhale part - I have the book, but can't seem to figure out how to do it properly.

Thanks!!!!

lumps on labial lips

I have lumps and bumps and raggedy edges on one of my labial lips. I feel sure this has something to do with my current discomfort. It's nearer my anus and somethimes I think there is swelling at one side. I've been reading about Bartholin glans and wondered if it could be something to do with that?

Mae's POP story

In honor of my First Year Anniversary as a member of Christine’s wonderful WholeWoman Forum, I thought I would post my personal story. I, like so many others, had been a lurker for years, but finally worked up the nerve to come out of the closet, so to speak, one year ago today!

9 Weeks Postpartum

I am currently 9 weeks postpartum and have some comments and questions for those of you who are experiencing this. I think I got my prolapse after my first son was born, but I never asked about it and it seemed to go away on its own. This time around I was fine immediately after I had my 2nd son, but my prolapse showed up around 4 1/2 weeks and was VERY noticeable and distinct. I definitely have a bladder prolapse (bulging out a little at times) and a uterine prolapse (cervix is really low most of the time).
