7 week Postpartum Update

Hi everyone,

This is kind of off subject but im just wondering if any of you ladies have ever had to deal with ur child having whooping cough?

Exercises to strengthen abdominal muscles safely

I am now afraid to do crunches to strengthen my abs, haven't done any since I discovered my bulge, but I still think I need strong abdominal muscles. What exercises can I safely do?

Rectocele, rigid ring pessary and indigestion

I think my main problem is rectocele, although other things in there seem to be bulging too. I also have a long history of IBS with lots of bloating and pain, sometimes violent spasms. When I started using a rigid ring pessry, it seemed immediately to help a lot - I felt normal again (in action, though when I check manually the bulges are still bulging). But when I have an episode of indigestion, it feels as if the pessary might be causing it, or at any rate making it worse.

I just need some help!

Hi everybody!

coping with rectocele

Just wanted everyone to know I am dealing with the rectocele much better now. When it got worse this last time it was like I was letting it consume my mind. I'm doing the posture and very careful with lifting. I'm no spring chick anymore. I still have some bad days with constipation but when I do I just use a Fleet enema and go on my way. I hardly ever wear my pessary.

Stretched vagina and POP

Hello everyone,

I would like to share the good news with you. I gave birth to my son seven months ago and my prolapses have really improved a lot – to such an the extent that they are barely noticeable (my gyn did not notice them at first sight at all yesterday:) Thanks to all of you who have me hope and all the hints 3.5 months ago when I joined this community.

pessary and yeast overgrowth

Hi,

I have been using a pessary for almost 2 years now. It is great for my prolapse, but I have yeast overgrowth and have been having large amounts of yeast discharge from my vagina for over 4 months now. My gyn says it has nothing to do with the pessary or the use of trimo sam and premarin. I am on a diet for yeast overgrowth and I am taking Diflucan and it is not helping.I have lost so much weight and feel hungry constantly. I am wondering if anyone using a pessary has had a similar problem.

Rectocele question

Hi ladies! I was wondering if I am the only one who has to push their rectocele back in after every bowel movement. I have to splint with each movement and empty my bowels easily when I do. However, I then have to push that vaginal wall back in. It comes out about an inch(maybe a little more). Do people really live like this? Can I be causing more damage by splinting and pushing it back in. At the age of 39 I am concerned what the future holds.

Squat toilets

Thinking of getting a platform to convert our loo into one you can squat on. Is this a good idea? Whenever I feel constipated I get into a squat position and it seems to really help. Long term, would this complement the posture? Knees are higher than pelvis in a squat is this okay? Cheers Highland_moo_mama
