Newly preg with first, have rectocele (2)

I'm sure this might sound repetitious to other posts and I'm not sure if I am any different. I'm new to the Whole Women concept and just assumed that surgery would be the answer after I complete my family.

Uterine prolapse and lichen sclerosis

I would like to enquire if uterine prolapse and lichen sclerosis are linked,or does the uterine prolapse rubbing on the skin cause it. I am sure i have it though not been diagnosed as i have read docters dont really understand the condition, and the biopsy sounds very painful. Would be interested to know if anybody has has sucess with natural treatments like apple cider viniger. Do you just apply it to the vulval skin.

Rectocele and exercise

I think that I have been suffering with this problem for some time now. In January I had thrombosed external hemorrhoids caused by a bout of constipation that was brought on by prescription painkillers for a frozen shoulder. I was admitted to hospital for surgical removal of the hemorrhoid but the suyrgeon was very much against the operation as it could cause severe after effects. So I went home with laxatives and ice filled condoms to ease the pain. At the time I didn't realise that I had been basically trying to force the stool into my vagina where the rectecele had prolapsed.

Belly binding

After I had my second baby, 9 weeks ago, I wore an abdominal belly binder. At this time I had no idea what a prolapse was and hadn't even heard of it...though now that I know I realize I probably had a first degree uterine prolapse after the birth of my first baby. Anyway, when I wore the binder (starting around 3 weeks postpartum), I remember trying to make it extra tight so I could "get back in shape". I remember first feeling my prolapse symptoms after wearing it. I had not had any symptoms with my first degree prolapse. I now have a stage 2 prolapse with possible rectocele.

How long for progress to show?

Forum:

Hello

Pains

Hi everyone, so since I am fairly new to this prolapse thing, I am wondering what should feel normal. I know I have a 2nd degree uterine prolapse but wondering if I also have rectocele. Had a baby 9 weeks ago. My symptoms are...wet heavy feeling in vaginal canal, achiness in pelvic area, sometimes little shooting pains in pelvic area, sometimes throbbing, feeling like things are falling out of me, painful hemorrhoids, feeling like my poo doesn't quite break off the way it used too (sorry I know that's gross).

Advice about supplements

Forum:

I'm trying to decide what, if any supplements I need to take to optimise my general well being. I eat very well (but am still prone to sugar cravings and must work on that). I have read so many of you take magnesium among other things but don't have the first idea if I'm deficient in anything. I'm suspicious of multi vitamins - are they a waste of time? But also don't want to pop pills if I don't need to....I've recently had some reassuring results with my digestive woes with a low dose of daily pro-biotics and am interested in looking at other beneficial supplements.

Perimenopause bleeding question

Hello,

I am glad I found this site. I am new and I have a question about light bleeding after a period while still in perimenopause. Do I post it here or is there a better place to post it? Thank you!

Cervix question

My cervix is right at vaginal opening and I read in saving the ww that I can push it up to the apex? Will it stay up? Haven't tried...a little scared of feeling it or messing something up worse. Anyone else try this?

Any hints here welcome...
